Snowy Saturday Predicted

Crystal Drive during the 2009 SnowpocalypseYesterday forecasters were predicting an inch of snow for Saturday. Now the Capital Weather Gang is predicting 2-4 inches of snow and warning that precipitation totals could reach even higher. Check back with us tomorrow as we program the brand new arlnow.com police scanner and monitor the snow’s impact on the community. The announcement from Arlington County Alerts is after the jump.

Snow and cold temperatures are forecasted for our region this weekend. In the event of snow accumulation or icy conditions, Arlington County will activate its crews to safely treat and clear priority roadways, followed by other public streets. Residents with snow related inquiries or concerns may contact [email protected] or call the snow hotline at 703-228-6485. Stay up to date on the County’s winter response efforts at 1700AM or by visiting www.arlingtonva.us.
