Crime Report: Man Touches Teen Girl on Shoulder, Gets Tased

From this week’s Arlington County crime report:

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST 09/23/10, 2000 block of S. 27th Street. On September 23 at 6:30 pm, a man touched a teenage girl on her shoulder without her permission. The man fled the area when confronted by another adult. The suspect was located by police. A tazer was deployed because the suspect was uncooperative. Alton Dixon, 46, of no fixed address, was charged with Assault and Battery and Fail to Identify to Law Enforcement. He was held on a $1,000 bond.

Also on the crime report, a drunken brawl broke out inside Bailey’s Pub in Ballston early Wednesday morning.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 09/29/10, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On September 29 at 1:30 am, a group of intoxicated males was in a fight inside a bar. One male was hit in the face. Police received reports that another man had been cut on his back, but that could not be proven. The suspects are unknown.

ATTEMPT ROBBERY 09/29/10, 100 block of N. Wayne Street. On September 28 at 11:30 pm, a man was approached by three unknown men wearing black handkerchiefs over their faces. The victim believes that they displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspects were startled by people walking by, and fled in a white sedan. The suspects were in their late teens, one was a white Hispanic male, and the other two were African American.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING 09/25/10, 800 block of Army Navy Drive. On September 25 at 8:20 pm, after a traffic collision in a parking garage, several subjects assaulted the driver of the striking vehicle. The victim was uncooperative with police and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

ROBBERY 09/22/10, 1900 block of S. Lowell Street. On September 22 at 9:45 pm, several unknown men approached a car in which two men were sitting. The suspects pulled the victims from the vehicle and assaulted them while stealing several dollars. The suspects are described as African American males.

ROBBERY-ARREST 09/27/10, 3600 block of Columbia Pike. On September 27 at 1:45 am, two mean assaulted a third male and went through his pockets for valuables. Police located the suspects. Angel Barrera Montoya, 24, and Ismael Estrada, 27, both of Arlington, were charged with Robbery. They were held without bond.

ROBBERY-ARREST 09/27/10, 2100 block of N. 15th Street. On September 27 at 10:20 pm, a man stole a case of beer from a convenience store. When an employee followed him, the suspect assaulted the employee and threw bottles at him. The employee was injured. Police located the suspect. Matthew Hill, 48, of Arlington, was charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY 09/24/10, 3400 block of Wilson Boulevard. On September 24 at 8 pm, two tow truck drivers got into a physical altercation after a verbal argument. The suspect is known.

LATE SEXUAL BATTERY 09/23/10, 1300 block of N. Stuart Street. On September 19 at 8:30 am, an unknown homeless male approached a woman from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The victim screamed and ran off. The suspect is described as an African American man in his 40’s, 5’8″ with a medium build. He was wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and carried a white grocery bag.

BURGLARY-ARREST 09/25/10, 100 block of S. Lexington Street. On September 25 at 9 am, homeowners found an unknown man inside their house. Police located the suspect in possession of items from the house. Shaka Barnes, 30, of Arlington, was charged with Burglary and Petit Larceny. He was held on an $8,000 bond.

BURGLARY 09/26/10, 1700 block of N. Edison Street. Between 7 pm on September 25, and 6 am on September 26, an unknown subject stole items from a garage. The garage door was left open overnight. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY 09/27/10, 1800 block of N. Quinn Street. On September 27 at 2:30 am, a woman awoke to find an unknown man in her apartment. She screamed and he fled. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male in his 30’s wearing all dark clothing.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 09/23/10, 3500 block of Columbia Pike. Between 6 pm on September 22, and 6:30 am on September 23, an unknown subject broke into a daycare center at a church. It is unknown if anything was stolen. There is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY (SERIES) 09/27/10, 4500 block of Fairfax Drive. Between 6:30 pm on September 24, and 6 am on September 27, an unknown subject entered at least two office suites in the same building and stole laptop computers. There is no suspect description.

EXPOSURE 09/23/10, 5200 block of Columbia Pike. On September 23 at 10:20 pm, a woman was walking down the street with her children. A man in a vehicle called out to her. When she walked over to him, he exposed himself. The suspect is described as an African American male in his early 30’s, with a mustache and goatee. The vehicle was a white sedan.

EXPOSURE 09/25/10, 2500 block of N. Vermont Street. On September 25 at 9:40 am, a woman was running and saw a man standing naked in a driveway. He yelled at her when she ran by to attract her attention.

EXPOSURE-ARREST 09/27/10, 200 block of N. Glebe Road. On September 27 at 4:40 pm, a woman witnessed a man exposing himself at a bus stop. Robert Bradley, 69, of Arlington, was charged with Exposure. He was released on a summons.

PEEPING TOM 09/26/10, 4300 block of N. Pershing Drive. On September 26 at 3:40 am, a man was seen peeping into an apartment window. The suspect was a white male, 5’5″ to 5’8″ with a medium build and short hair. He was wearing a red shirt and dark pants.

PEEPING TOM-ARREST 09/26/10, 300 block of N. Glebe Road. On September 26 at 10 pm, two men were caught looking into an apartment. Hector Lopez-Aguilar, 29, of Arlington, and Victor Cortez-Sanchez, 34, of Falls Church, were both charged with Peeping into An Occupied Dwelling. Lopez-Aguilar was issued a $2,500 bond and Cortez-Sanchez was held without bond.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES) 09/22/10, 4400-4500 blocks of S. 4th Street. Between 11:30 pm on September 21 and 7:30 am on September 22, an unknown subject broke into at least three vehicles, stealing items from each. There are no known suspects.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES) 09/25/10, 1100-1400 blocks of S. Joyce Street and 1111 Army Navy Drive. On September 25 between midnight and 4 am, an unknown suspect broke into at least twelve vehicles in the same general area. There is no suspect description.
