In this week’s Arlington County crime report, a real estate agent got a bit of a surprise upon entering a for-sale property and discovering someone sleeping there.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY-ARREST, 12/23/11, 500 block of S. 25th Street. On December 23 at 9:30 am, a realtor found that a subject had broken into a property and was sleeping there. Lorenzo Brown, 19, of Landover, MD, was charged with Unlawful Entry and Destruction of Property. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

ROBBERY, 12/21/11, 1800 block Wilson Boulevard. On December 21 at 2:50 am, two unknown men robbed a gas station while displaying a handgun. The suspects were both African American men in their 30’s, around 5’10”. One subject was wearing a ski mask; the other had a medium complexion and a small mustache.
ROBBERY-ARREST, 12/25/11, 4100 block of Four Mile Run Drive. On December 25 at 12:15 pm, a man entered a gas station and robbed the cashier of money and cigarettes while brandishing a handgun. The suspect then fled in a vehicle that a second person was driving. Both suspects were apprehended by police. Liban Jama, 23, of Arlington, was charged with Armed Robbery and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. Earl Brown, 27, of Arlington, was charged with Armed Robbery. They were both held without bond.
BANK ROBBERY-ARREST, 12/22/11, 2600 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On December 22 at 9:50 am, an unknown man entered a bank, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. After receiving cash, the suspect fled on foot. He was apprehended later in the evening. Rafi Khan, 23, of Arlington, was charged with two counts of Bank Robbery. He was held without bond.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 12/25/11, 5600 block of S. 7th Road. On December 25 at 1 am, a man assaulted his wife. He was extremely disorderly during arrest and kicked out the window of a police cruiser. Carlos Villatoro, 30, of Arlington, was charged with Felony Destruction of Property, Domestic Assault and Battery, Possession of Marijuana and Curse and Abuse. He was held without bond.
SEXUAL BATTERY, 12/24/11, 2200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On December 24 at 4 pm, a known subject grabbed a woman’s buttocks as she was leaving a bus.
BURGLARY, 12/25/11, 4000 block of S. 9th Street. Between 10 pm on December 24, and 9 am on December 25, an unknown subject broke into a house and stole various items. There is no suspect description.
BURGLARY-ARREST, 12/25/11, 2300 block of Wilson Boulevard. On December 25 at 7 am, two men were seen breaking into a business. They were apprehended at the scene by police. Mohamed Alim, 19, of Alexandria, and Adil Gour, 19, of Fairfax, were both charged with Burglary. They were held without bond.
BURGLARY, 12/27/11, 1300 block of Columbia Pike. At 7:00 am on December 26, an unknown subject broke into an apartment complex and stole a computer monitor. There is no suspect description.
BURGLARY-ARREST, 12/28/11, 2700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On December 28 at 4:45 am, two men broke a glass door and entered the business center of a hotel. Police found them a short distance away from the hotel. Kareen Taylor, 18, of Alexandria, was charged with Burglary and Destruction of Property. Gabral Sammy, 19, of Alexandria, was charged with Burglary, Destruction of Property and Possession of Marijuana. They were both held on a $1,000 bond.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/22/11, 3200 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 11:30 pm on December 15, and 7:30 am on December 16, an unknown person entered a business and stole audiovisual equipment. There are no known suspects.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/23/11, 1700 block of N. Moore Street. Between 2:45 pm on December 22, and 6 pm on December 23, an unknown subject broke into an office suite and stole laptop computers. There are no known suspects.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/26/11, 3800 block of Four Mile Run Drive. Between 3 pm on December 24, and 7:30 am on December 26, an unknown subject broke into a business and stole various items. There is no suspect description.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/27/11, 4200 block of Four Mile Run Drive. Between 11:30 am on December 23, and 7:00 pm on December 27, an unknown subject broke into a storage facility and stole construction equipment. There are no known suspects.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 12/23/11, 200 block of N. George Mason Drive. On December 23 at 10:30 pm, four people were found inside of an apartment without permission. Two were juveniles and released to parents. Bryon Ramirez, 18, of Arlington, and Jonathan Chireno, 18, of Arlington, were both charged with Unlawful Entry. They were released on their own recognizance.
ATTEMPT COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/27/11, 3500 block of S. 19th Street. Between 8 pm on December 23, and 6 am on December 27, an unknown subject attempted to break into a construction trailer. There are no known suspects.
