This week’s Arlington County crime report contains a number of burglaries.
Police managed to arrest three suspects during one of the burglaries, which took place in an apartment complex community room. From the crime report:
BURGLARY, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. On November 17 at 12:50am, a witness reported three individuals breaking into a community room. The three subjects were apprehended inside the community room in possession of marijuana, burglarious tools, and a stolen credit card. The subjects were all charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglarious Tools, Credit Card Theft, Credit Card Fraud, and Possession of Marijuana. The subjects were identified as Edwin Hercules-Torres, 21, of Alexandria, VA, Soami Salmeron, 22, of Alexandria, VA, and Jose Depena-Echevarria, 19, of Alexandria, VA.

BURGLARY, 4600 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. On November 17 at 11:45am, a victim reported an unknown subject(s) entered his residence and stole various items. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 2005 S. 4th Street. On November 17 at 10:54pm, a victim reported an unknown subject(s) entered his residence through a window and stole numerous items. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 4700 block of N. Williamsburg Boulevard. Between 8:30 am and 11:56 am on November 18, a victim returned home to find her front door open and cash missing. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 1000 block of N. Arlington Boulevard. Between 11:35 am and 6:25 pm on November 19, an unknown suspect forced entry into a victim’s apartment and stole a bracelet and a ring. There is no suspect(s) description.
ROBBERY, 4100 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At 3:25 pm on November 13, a subject snatched a victim’s purse off of her shoulder and fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s or 40’s, approximately 160 lbs. and was wearing a black beanie, a black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants at the time of the incident.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 131119047, 1800 block of N. Dinwiddie Street. Between 7:00 pm on November 18 and 7:07 am on November 19, several tires of 36 cars have been slashed by an unknown suspect(s). There is no suspect(s) information and an investigation is still ongoing.
