A man was viciously punched in the hallway of a Columbia Pike-area apartment building early Wednesday morning, police say.
Two arrests were made in connection with the alleged crime. From this week’s Arlington County crime report:
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 150415010, 1200 block of S. Courthouse Road. At 2:26 am on April 15, two subjects assaulted a victim in the hallway of an apartment building. The victim was repeatedly punched causing him to suffer a broken tooth that was embedded in his lip. Vannak Ki, 20, of Falls Church, VA and Joshua Hueston, 19, of Arlington, VA were arrested and charged with malicious wounding. They were held without bond.

ROBBERY, 150408042, 1300 block of S. Joyce Street. At 6:19 pm on April 8, an unknown male subject entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy and concealed numerous items in his jacket. When an employee confronted the subject, he pushed the clerk and fled. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 16 to 18 years old, dark complexion with dreadlocks. The suspect was wearing a black Northface jacket, tan khaki pants and sneakers.
BURGLARY, 150406028, 1500 block of N. Glebe Road. Between 11:30 pm on April 5 and 5:43 am on April 6, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the Mount Olivet United Methodist Church and stole a flat screen TV and DVD player. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 150412037, 1200 block of N. Stuart Street. Between 3:00 pm on April 10 to 6:15 pm on April 12, an unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole a Felt Road bicycle and a Toshiba laptop. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 150412045, 1900 block of N. Moore Street. Between 5:00 pm on April 10 to 10:00 pm on April 12, an unknown suspect(s) entered into a business and stole a HP ProBook laptop, HP ProBook 4530s laptop and a black satchel. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 150414008, 2100 block of N. Lee Highway. Between 7 pm on April 13 and 5:15 am on April 14, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a construction site. It was unknown at the time of the report if any items were missing. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 150414015, 2400 block of N. 16th Street. Between 6:49 and 7:51 am on April 14, a subject entered an apartment building laundry room and stole undisclosed amount of coins. The suspect was caught on surveillance video and is a black male in his 40s, approximately 5’9″ and 170 lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, black jacket and a black knit hat at the time of the incident.
BURGLARY, 150414046, 800 block of N. Quincy Street. Between 8:05 am and 6:15 pm on April 14, an unknown subject(s) entered an apartment and stole a Macbook Air and Beats headphones. There is no suspect(s) description.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 150410029, 3600 block of Columbia Pike. At 3:50 pm on April 10, an unknown subject exposed himself to a female on the sidewalk as he drove past her. The suspect description is a Hispanic male driving a beige colored sedan.
SEXUAL BATTERY, 150409052, 1600 block of S. Joyce Street. At 8:40 pm on April 9, an unknown male suspect grabbed a 23-year-old victim’s buttocks from behind while she was walking towards her residence. The suspect fled from the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a male in is 20’s, approximately 5’6, slim build, wearing a red hoodie, blue jeans and sneakers.
