Crime Report: Man Engaged in Lewd Act in Car Near Wakefield High

Arlington police carA girl saw a man masturbating in his car next to Wakefield High School on Friday afternoon, just after school dismissal.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. on the 1300 block of S. Dinwiddie Street.

From an Arlington County Police Department crime report:

LATE EXPOSURE, 160912021, 1300 block of S. Dinwiddie Street. At approximately 3:05 p.m. on September 9, a juvenile female witnessed an unknown male subject masturbating in his vehicle. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his thirties. He was driving a light gray older model four door sedan. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (series), 160913007, 3100 block of S. 12th Street.  At approximately 8:30 a.m. on September 13, officers responded to a report of a late larceny from auto.  Officers located nine other unlocked vehicles nearby which had also been entered and numerous items were stolen. There is no suspect(s)

ARMED ROBBERY, 160909040, 6600 block of N. 19th Road. At approximately 4:22 p.m. on September 9, officers responded to the report of a robbery. When on scene, it was determined that a female victim was walking on the W& OD trail and was approached by two masked subjects who demanded her property at gunpoint. The victim began to yell for help, causing the subjects to flee. A witness observed the subjects get on to a bus where they were later apprehended by officers. The male juvenile subject was charged with armed robbery, conspiracy, and use of a firearm while committing a felony. The female juvenile subject was charged with armed robbery and conspiracy. Both were transported to the juvenile detention facility.

ATTEMPTED BREAKING & ENTERING, 160910046, 3900 block of S. 7th Street. At approximately 10:45 p.m. on September 10, police responded to the report of an attempted breaking and entering. Upon arrival it was determined that a female victim awoke to a loud noise and witnessed a male subject outside her window. A lookout was broadcast and police located a subject in the area matching the victim’s description. Luis Pablo Ayllon Duran, 31, of Arlington VA, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a concealed weapon.

INJURING A MEMORIAL, 160911022, 1500 block of N. Courthouse Road. At approximately 11:16 a.m. on September 11, police were dispatched to the report of a subject destroying the 9/11 Memorial Wreath used during the County’s September 11 Observance. Upon arrival, officers observed the subject removing flowers from the wreath and discarding petals on the sidewalk. Charles Harris, 51, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Injuring a Memorial and Drunk In Public. He was held on a $1,000 secured bond.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY BY FORCE, 160912001, 1800 block of N. Fort Myer Drive. At approximately 12:00 a.m. on September 12, an unknown male assaulted a male victim and stole numerous items from him. The suspect is described as a black male in his 50’s, approximately 5’7″ tall and weighed 170-180 lbs. He was wearing a dark blue shirt, black pants, and bright colored shoes.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 160909017, 800 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. Between 3:00 p.m. on August 26 and 9:00 a.m. on September 9, an unknown subect(s) forced entry into a cabinet in a garage and stole numerous items of value. There is no suspect(s) description.

POLICE INFORMATION, 160908030, 4400 block of N. Carlin Spring Road. At approximately 3:00 p.m. on September 8, an 11-year-old female victim was walking home from school when an unknown male subject in a white van drove beside her and attempted to ask her a question. The victim ran away before the subject finished speaking. The subject is described as a dark complexion male, approximately 30-years-old, with a mustache. He was driving a white van with shiny wheels at the time of the incident.

ASSAULT ON POLICE, 160908033, unit block of S. Route 110. At approximately 4:27 p.m. on September 8, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a suspended license. The subject was non-compliant when asked to exit the vehicle and bit the officers hand. Jo Walton McClease, 66, of Fairmount Heights MD, was arrested and charged with assault on police, obstruction, and driving without a license. She is being held on a secured bond.

BURGLARY, 160908007, 5200 block of N. Lee Highway. Between 7:45 p.m. on September 7 and 6:45 a.m. on September 8, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a business and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. There is no suspect(s) description.

BURGLARY, 160908046, 1600 block of S. Eads Street. At approximately 7:20 p.m. on September 8, a male victim witnessed shadows of multiple subjects walking through his residence. The suspects rummaged through several drawers and cabinets in the residence, but nothing appeared to be missing. There is no suspect(s) description.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO x2, 160908008, 1600 block of S. Joyce Street. At approxiamtely 7:15 a.m. on September 8, units were dispatched to the above address for reports of two vehicles being left on blocks with their wheels missing. The vehicles were both Honda Accords. The suspects pulled up in what appears to be a light colored four door sedan. The first suspect is described as wearing a full industrial suit with gloves. The second suspect is described as a dark skinned male with a beard and skull cap.

ATTEMPTED BREAKING & ENTERING, 160907014, 800 block of S. Highland Street. Between 2:00 a.m. and 5:10 a.m. on September 7, an unknown subject(s) attempted to break into a residence by tampering with the lock. There is no suspect(s) description.
