Woman Trapped in Car After Crash Involving Dump Truck on I-395

(Updated at 2:20 p.m.) Police and firefighters responded to a crash involving a car and a dump truck on I-395 Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. on northbound I-395, approaching Washington Blvd. The force of the collision trapped the driver inside the car; firefighters had to heavy tools to cut one of the doors open to extricate her.

The driver of the car is being evaluated for injuries. As of 1:15 p.m. at least two left-hand lanes of northbound I-395 were closed.
