This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Luna, a 5-year-old from Puerto Rico.
Here is what her owner Christina had to say:
Luna is a very good girl! She grew up in Puerto Rico and made her way to the D.C. area through Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.
She is around 5 years old and is a beautiful, if somewhat unusual-looking, mutt of mysterious origins (yellow lab? beagle? dachshund? who knows).
Her specialty is napping anywhere, anytime, dreaming of treats and chasing squirrels. She’s very chill and easygoing and is often mistaken for a senior citizen due to her relaxed nature.
She adores all humans (because humans feed her) except for the mailman, alas, who is her eternal nemesis.
Luna loves to curl up for a long car ride, make new doggie and human friends in the Shirlington Dog Park and sunbathe.
