Shopper in Pentagon City Confronts Alleged Dressing Room Peeper

A shopper at a store in the Pentagon City mall confronted a man after she found a cell phone in her dressing room with its camera pointing upwards.

Police say the confrontation happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday. The man denied involvement and walked off.

“The investigation is ongoing,” police said.

UNLAWFUL FILMING, 2018-04110221, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 7:57 p.m. on April 11, police were dispatched to the report of a peeping tom. Upon arrival, it was determined that while the female victim was in a dressing room, she observed a cell phone on the floor with its camera pointing upwards. The victim confronted the male subject in the dressing room next to hers who denied involvement in the incident. The subject fled the scene prior to police arrival. The subject is described as an Asian male, approximately 5’9″, with a heavy accent, clean shaven with scars on his face, wearing a dark jacket, dark jeans, and carrying a backpack on his back. The investigation is ongoing.
