A man pushed a woman to the ground and tried to take her money last Wednesday along Columbia Pike, but fled after a witness intervened.

ROBBERY, 151118069, 3200 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 10:35 p.m. on November 18, a 19 year-old female victim was shoved to the ground after a male subject attempted to steal change from her. The suspect fled the scene after a witness tried to intervene. Marlow Dugger, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.

ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 151122018, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 5:42 a.m. on November 22, officers were dispatched to an assault in progress. Officers located the suspect in a vehicle and gave commands. The suspect wouldn’t comply and accelerated his vehicle at an officer, striking two parked vehicles before fleeing. A K-9 track was attempted with negative results and the suspect is still at large. Warrants were obtained for Javier Torres Bustos, 21, of Arlington VA, for attempted malicious wounding on law enforcement, eluding, and two counts of hit and run.
ARMED ROBBERY, 151119022, 5600 block of N. Lee Highway. At approximately 11:34 a.m. on November 19, an unknown male subject robbed a Shell station employee at gunpoint. The suspect is described as a white male in his late twenties, approximately 6’0″ and weighed 180 lbs. He was wearing a grey under armor long sleeve, tan khaki shorts, brown boots, and a blue hat.
ROBBERY, 151119003, 2300 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 10:41 p.m. on November 18, two unknown male subjects were inside a woman’s apartment when she arrived home. After further investigation officers found that the subject had also committed a robbery at the Liberty gas station earlier that day. Warrants are pending for burglary and robbery for Stephen Leon Roberts, 21, of Capitol Heights, MD.
BURGLARY, 151118024, 1900 block of N. Fort Myer Drive. Between 6:15 p.m. on November 17 and 5:00 a.m. on November 18, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into an office suite and stole several laptops. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 151113040, 1300 block of N. Troy Street. Between 8:05 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on November 13, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole several items of value. There is no suspect(s) description.
PEEPING TOM, 151121007, 800 block of S. Arlington Mill Drive. At approximately 1:06 a.m. a male subject was seen walking back and forth while looking into a first floor apartment window. Samuel Louis Brogden, 43, of Woodbridge VA, was arrested and charged with peeping tom.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 151124014, 1900 block of N. Moore Street. Between 5:30 p.m. on November 23 and 8:25 a.m. on November 24, an unknown subject(s) entered an office building and stole several laptops. There is no suspect(s) description.
