This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Stella, who likes to hang out at her owner’s shop.
Here’s what Stella’s owner, Lisa, has to say about her:
My name is Stella, and I was rescued almost a year ago and placed in a foster home here in Arlington. My owner has a gift store that she was hoping to take me to everyday. But she had to make sure I was good with people and wouldn’t dart out the front door whenever it was open. While I love people and other dogs, it took me about a month to stop darting out and to realize, “‘Man, I got it good here. Why run away?!”
So now I’m in Westover at Trade Roots almost daily. Have I got the life! Some people come in just to pet me, and I’m told they are very disappointed when I’m not there.
Thanks to a rescue organization called Dogs Deserve Better, I’ve got the best life ever!
