This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Mr. Bingley, a bunny who loves fruit, wrapping paper and shoes!
Here’s what Mr. Bingley’s owner, Laura, had to say about him:
Mr. Bingley is a six month old Holland Lop bunny. He was adopted from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and happily lives in Shirlington with his owner Laura.
He likes to eat hay, kale, carrots, and apples but his favorite treats are fresh pineapple and Aldi-brand twisted fruit rope.
When he’s not curled up in a “snowball” napping, Mr. Bingley likes to climb bookshelves, jump on the couch, and chase human friends for treats. He loves shoes and will sniff, lick, chew your laces, or just keep them company on the floor.
This Christmas, he asked Santa for a big pile of wrapping paper to shred and play in. He can’t wait for the first snow so he can dig tunnels and play outside!
