In this week’s Arlington County crime report, cops busted a man who they say was exposing himself in view of children.
INDECENT LIBERTIES-ARREST, 05/10/11, 5200 block of S. 7th Road. On May 10 at 8 pm, a witness called police about a man exposing himself in view of children. Police located the suspect near Tyrol Hill Park. Thomas Boushier, 63, of Arlington, was charged with Indecent Liberties with Children. He was held without bond.

ROBBERY,05/04/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On May 4 at 5:45 pm, an unknown man entered a sandwich shop and demanded money while displaying a handgun. The suspect barricaded the employees in the back and fled with money and their cell phones. The suspect is described as an African American male in his 30’s, 5’8″-5’10”, wearing a black baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, black “fanny pack” and jeans.
ROBBERY,05/07/11, 300 block of N. Glebe Road. On May 6 at 11 pm, a woman stated that she was robbed of her purse by two unknown men. She said that one suspect displayed a small knife. The suspects were both African American men in their 20’s.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST,05/07/11, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On May 7 at 1 am, a man assaulted another man inside a bar. Jeremy Brown, 27, of Westminster, MD, was charged with Assault and battery. He was held on a $2,000 bond.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 05/08/11, 1400 block of N. Courthouse Road. On May 8 at 1:40 am, a man was paying for his cab ride when an unknown man and woman assaulted him because he was not exiting the cab quickly. The man and woman were both white and in their 40’s.
SEXUAL BATTERY, 05/08/11, 1100 block of N. Highland Street. On May 8 at 2:30 am, a woman was walking when an unknown man ran up behind her and forcefully slapped her on her buttocks. The suspect is described as man in his 20’s with a medium complexion, 6’1″ and a thin build. He was wearing jeans and a green sports jersey with a “19” on the back.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY-ARREST, 05/07/11, 600 block of N. Jackson Street. On May 7 at 2:44 pm, an off-duty officer witnessed a man steal a bicycle from a neighbor’s house. When confronted, the suspect fled. He was later apprehended. Michael Ford, 48, of Arlington, was charged with Grand Larceny, Unlawful Entry, Fleeing from Law Enforcement, and Curse and Abuse. He was held on an $8,000 bond.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 05/09/11, 2000 block of N. Adams Street. On May 9 at 2:40 am, a woman awoke to find an unknown woman standing in her bedroom. The suspect walked out when the resident confronted her. The suspect was a white female in her 20’s, 5’5″, 110 lbs with brown hair. She was wearing leggings and a t-shirt.
BURGLARY, 05/06/11, 3800 block of N. 24thStreet. Between 9 pm on May 5, and 7:30 am on May 6, an unknown subject forcibly entered a house under construction and stole tools. There are no known suspects.
BURGLARY,05/07/11, 2300 block of N. Richmond Street. Between 4 pm on May 6, and 7:30 am on May 7, an unknown subject forcibly entered a house under construction and stole tools. There is no suspect description.
BURGLARY,05/07/11, 2700 block of S. Adams Street. On May 7 between 4:30 am and 11:30 am, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole electronics. There are no known suspects.
BURGLARY,05/07/11, 1100 block of S. Joyce Street. Between noon on May 12, and noon on May 7, an unknown person broke into an apartment and stole various items. There is no suspect description.
