(Updated at 1:05 p.m.) Two people were pepper sprayed and had a knife pulled on them in Rosslyn Saturday night.
The suspect was someone the pair knew and the incident happened after an argument, police said.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC AGENT (late), 2018-04140296, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 11:20 p.m. on April 14, police were dispatched to the late report of a malicious wounding. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 10:20 p.m., following a dispute between known individuals, the suspect sprayed the two victims with a caustic agent. The suspect subsequently brandished a knife before fleeing the area. Neither victim required medical treatment. Warrants for Malicious/Unlawful Wounding by Caustic Agent and Attempted Malicious/Unlawful Wounding were obtained for the suspect.
Early Monday morning, two men broke into Nova Armory in Lyon Park. Nothing was stolen from the gun store, police said.
BURGLARY, 2018-04160016, 2300 block of N. Pershing Drive. At approximately 1:53 a.m. on April 16, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that two unknown suspects forced entry to a business, causing damage. Nothing was reported missing from the business. The suspects fled prior to police arrival. Suspect One is described as a black male, approximately 5’10”-6’0″and 150-175 lbs., wearing a skullcap, gray pants and a dark jacket. Suspect Two is described as a black male, approximately 5’7″-5’9″ and 150-175 lbs., wearing a jersey. The investigation is ongoing.

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE, 2018-04160258, N. Nelson Street at 10th Street N. At approximately 11:14 p.m. on April 16, a lookout was broadcast based on a License Plate Reader hit on a vehicle that had previously been reported stolen out of Connecticut. Arriving units canvased the area, located the vehicle, and initiated a traffic stop. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Hamid Mohamed, 27, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Driving with a Suspended or Revoked License. He was held on no bond.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2018-04150131, 700 block of 23rd Street S. At approximately 3:04 p.m. on April 15, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was walking towards the entrance of a building when the male suspect approached her, grabbed her hair and pulled at her purse. The suspect was unsuccessful in stealing the purse and fled the scene on foot. The victim did not require medical treatment. Based upon the suspect description provided by the victim, an arriving officer was able to locate the suspect nearby on a property he had previously been banned from. Steven George, 51, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery and Trespassing.
BURGLARY (late), 2018-04130081, Unit block of N. Fenwick Street. At approximately 9:00 a.m. on April 13, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 4:00 p.m. on April 12, an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence under construction and attempted to remove items of value. The items were located on the property damaged. The suspects are described as two males operating a silver truck. The investigation is ongoing.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE, 2018-04130112, 1300 block of N. George Mason Drive. At approximately 11:00 a.m. on April 13, an officer on routine patrol observed an individual behaving suspiciously walk around a vehicle stopped in a travel lane and then re-enter it. A subsequent check of the tag indicated the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Fairfax County earlier in the day. Jonathan Torres, 19, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny: Motor Vehicle Theft, Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance and Driving with a Suspended or Revoked License.
FRAUD (Significant), 2018-04100224, 2700 block of S. Quincy Street. On April 10, police were conducting a follow-up investigation after a skimming device had been located on an ATM in the 2700 block of S. Quincy Street earlier that day. Officers observed one of the suspects, who had been previously captured on surveillance, approach the ATM multiple times. The suspect then fled the scene in an awaiting vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the two occupants were taken into custody. Gheorghe Cosmin-Dacian, 35, and Cristian Nicola Roman, 35, both of Jacksonville, Florida were arrested and charged with identity theft, credit card theft, credit card forgery and unlawful use of payment card scanning devices. The suspects were held without bond.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2018-04120144, 28th Road S. at S. Abingdon Street. At approximately 2:06 p.m. on April 12, police were dispatched to the report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was walking in the area when she observed an unknown male suspect masturbating inside his vehicle. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30’s. He was driving a blue sedan. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2018-04110084, 1300 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 10:23 a.m. on April 11, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect entered a business, allegedly concealed merchandise in a bag and exited the business without paying. The suspect then reentered the store where he was confronted by an employee. A struggle ensued over the bag containing the merchandise, at which point the suspect pushed the employee. The suspect fled the scene without any of the merchandise prior to police arrival. A lookout was broadcast and an arriving officer located an individual matching the suspect description in the area. Dayquane Crawford, 21, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery and Giving False Identity to a Law Enforcement Officer While Detained. He was held on no bond.
UNLAWFUL FILMING, 2018-04110221, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 7:57 p.m. on April 11, police were dispatched to the report of a peeping tom. Upon arrival, it was determined that while the female victim was in a dressing room, she observed a cell phone on the floor with its camera pointing upwards. The victim confronted the male subject in the dressing room next to hers who denied involvement in the incident. The subject fled the scene prior to police arrival. The subject is described as an Asian male, approximately 5’9″, with a heavy accent, clean shaven with scars on his face, wearing a dark jacket, dark jeans, and carrying a backpack on his back. The investigation is ongoing.
