Police responded to two indecent exposure calls in relatively the same area this past week.
The first incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. last Friday in the Radnor/Ft. Myer Heights neighborhood near the 1900 block of Clarendon Blvd. A woman walking in the area saw a man masturbating in a park.

INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 201804200279, 1900 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 10:53 p.m. on April 20, police were dispatched to the late report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 9:35 p.m., the female victim was walking in the area when she witnessed an unknown male suspect allegedly masturbating in a park. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7″ tall and 160 lbs., with dark hair sticking out of a dark colored beanie, wearing a black windbreaker and dark pants. The investigation is ongoing.
The second incident happened nearby at Wilson Blvd. and N. Troy Street in the Colonial Village neighborhood around 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday. A man reportedly approached a woman and exposed himself before fleeing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2018-04240236, Wilson Boulevard at N. Troy Street. At approximately 10:47 p.m. on April 24, police were dispatched to the report of a possible exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 10:20 p.m. the female victim was walking in the area when an unknown male suspect approached her while exposing himself. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. Arriving officers canvased the area with negative results. The suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall, with a skinny build, wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled over his head and blue jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2018-04250046, 500 block of N. Thomas Street. At approximately 8:16 a.m. on April 25, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 9:00 a.m. on April 24 and 8:00 a.m. on April 25, an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a residence and stole items of value. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY (late), 2018-04210042, 1200 block of S. George Mason Drive. At approximately 5:20 a.m. on April 21, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 4:50 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., the victim was walking to her residence when an unknown male suspect approached her and demanded money. When the victim declined, the suspect struck her, causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. Nothing was reported stolen from the victim. The suspect is described as white male, 35-45 years old, approximately 5’5″ to 5’7″ tall, with black hair that was longer on the top and shorter on the sides and parted to the side, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a white belt. The vehicle is described as a dark colored Toyota Camry or similar model sedan with Maryland tags. The investigation is ongoing.
ARMED ROBBERY, 2018-04190286, 800 block of S. Greenbrier Street. At approximately 10:45 p.m. on April 19, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that two male suspects approached the male victim from behind, brandished firearms, threatened him and forced him to the ground. The suspects then stole items of value from the victim and fled prior to police arrival. The victim was not injured. Arriving officers canvased the area and a K9 track yielded negative results. Suspect One is described as a black male, clean shaven with black hair, approximately 6’3″ tall, with a heavy build, wearing a brown shirt, blue pants, black boots and gloves. Suspect Two is described as a black male, clean shaven with black hair, approximately 5’10”-5’10” tall, with a slim build, wearing a blue and yellow checkered short sleeved shirt and gloves. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2018-04190096, 400 block of N. Oxford Street. At approximately 9:58 a.m. on April 19, police were dispatched to the report of a possible burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 12:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) gained entry a residence and stole items of value. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the victim’s vehicle was also entered and items of value were reported missing. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
