This week’s Arlington Pet of the Week is Sugar, a 20-year-old, cross-eyed cat who is a bit of a world traveler.
Here’s what her owner, Mallory, had to say:
Sugar hails from St. Croix in the U.S Virgin Islands and came to Arlington from Columbus, Ohio. This well travelled, 5 pound cutie is TWENTY years old.
Sugar is a passionate foodie. She loves taking inventory of the fridge whenever she get the chance and never lets her friends eat alone. She’s not above going on a hunger strike to demand variety in her diet. Even though she needs stairs to get up to her mom’s bed, she’s been known to make adrenaline fueled leaps up to the counter when mom cooks something that smells too tempting.
She loves to snuggle and supervise her mom’s work for law school. Her crossed eyes don’t hold her back from being a great proof reader.
Sugar is loving spending her retirement in Arlington.
