Police are looking for a man who walked into a Rosslyn business, sat down and exposed himself.
The incident happened last Wednesday around 8 p.m. Police say the man “touched himself inappropriately” before fleeing the scene on a bike.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2018-10030258, 1800 block of N. Oak Street. At approximately 8:14 p.m. on October 3, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 7:40 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a business and sat down in a chair. The suspect then exposed himself and touched himself inappropriately. The suspect fled on his bike after the employee informed the suspect she was calling police. The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, approximately 5’10”, 215 lbs., with black and blonde dreadlocks falling below shoulder length, some facial hair, wearing a dark t-shirt and blue jeans. The bike is described as a gray and black mountain bike. The investigation is ongoing.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON POLICE, 2018-10080019, Crystal Drive at 20th Street S. At approximately 2:14 a.m. on October 8, officers on routine patrol observed a vehicle make an illegal U-turn and attempted a traffic stop. One of the officers had previously cited the driver for operating without a valid license and his license remained suspended at the time of this incident. During the investigation, the suspect allegedly refused to exit the vehicle, attempted to lock himself inside and did not comply with the lawful commands of the officers. Officers removed the suspect from the vehicle and placed him under arrest. A search incident to arrest located a concealed weapon on the suspect’s person. While being transported to booking, the suspect affected a leg lock on an officer causing both to fall. Michael McClanahan, 32, of Clinton, Md., was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on Police, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Obstruction of Justice and No Operator’s License. He was held without bond.
ARMED ROBBERY, 2018-10080179, 900 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 7:21 p.m. on October 8, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was allegedly robbed of his cell phone at gunpoint by three male suspects he had had previously agreed to meet with. During the incident, the victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical treatment. Arriving officers established a perimeter and two suspects, matching the descriptions provided by the victim, were located and taken into custody. Fairfax County Police Department’s Helicopter Unit responded, and a K9 track was initiated, but yielded negative results in locating the third suspect. The third suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 5’9″-5’10”, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a shirt underneath and black pants. Amir Lynch, 18, of Sterling, Va., was arrested and charged with Robbery. Petitions were obtained for Robbery, Brandishing of a Firearm and Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance for the juvenile suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
PEEPING, 2018-10060254, 2800 block of 9th Street S. At approximately 10:07 p.m. on October 6, police were dispatched to the report of a subject peeping into windows. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect was observed peeping into a residence and crouching behind a bush to avoid being seen. When an arriving officer attempted to make contact with the suspect, he fled on foot. A brief foot pursuit ensued before the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Alexei Rodriguez, 44, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Peeping/Spying into a Dwelling.
BURGLARY, 2018-10060248, 1400 block of 28th Street S. At approximately 9:25 p.m. on October 6, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims left the residence for a short period, during which time an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the residence and stole items of value. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2018-10060049, 3200 block of 24th Street S. At approximately 3:45 a.m. on October 6, police observed suspicious activity inside a vacant residence. Units established a perimeter and attempted to make contact with the suspects. Three suspects were then observed fleeing on foot from the residence by officers maintaining the perimeter. Two suspects were located and taken into custody by perimeter units. A third suspect remains outstanding. Bernard Posey, 18, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry and Possession of Marijuana. Joshua Hueston, 22, of Arlington Va., was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2018-100500120, 4100 block of Round Hill Road. At approximately 12:10 p.m. on October 5, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that between October 3 and October 4, an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to a residence unsuccessfully, causing damage. Nothing was reported missing from the residence. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2018-10040006, 2000 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 1:05 a.m. on October 4, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect entered a business, approached the front counter and requested to purchase merchandise. As the employee retrieved merchandise from behind the counter and presented it to the suspect, the suspect lifted his shirt, displaying a firearm, and demanded the employee give him cash. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male with a medium skin tone, approximately 6’0″-6’3″, with a medium build, wearing a red shirt on top of his head, a black rag covering his hair, a black short-sleeved t-shirt, black pants, and basketball shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2018-10040203, 2100 block of S. Kenmore Street. At approximately 7:16 p.m. on October 4, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that between approximately 3:00 p.m. and 7:08 p.m. on October 4, a known suspect gained entry to the victim’s residence and stole items of value. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2018-09030127, 2400 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. At approximately 4:34 p.m. on September 3, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that between July 17 and August 30, an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the victim’s residence and stole items of value. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
