Overnight ramp closures are scheduled to occur this week on I-66 East in Arlington for asphalt paving as part of the I-66 Eastbound Widening Project. Detours will be posted to direct traffic.

Tuesday, August 11, and Wednesday, August 12
Ramp from I-66 East to Exit 68, Westmoreland Street
The ramp will be closed each night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be directed farther east on I-66 to Exit 69, Washington Boulevard/Lee Highway (Route 29). Traffic will turn right on Lee Highway toward Falls Church, turn right on W. Jefferson Street, turn right on Little Falls Street, turn left on Fairfax Drive, and then turn right on N. Westmoreland Street.
Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14
Ramp from I-66 East to Exit 69, Washington Boulevard/Lee Highway (Route 29)
The ramp will be closed each night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be directed to Exit 68, Westmoreland St., prior to the closure. Traffic will stay to the right on Westmoreland Street, turn left at the stop sign onto Fairfax Drive, then stay to the right to continue on Fairfax Drive to reach Lee Highway.
All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
