Meet Bentley, Arlington’s latest Pet of the Week. Bentley is new to Arlington, and he’s excited about these warmer temps, so he can start exploring his new city and making friends!
Here’s what Bentley had to say about his life in Arlington:
Hey y’all! I’m Bentley, a small sheltie born and raised in Georgia. I moved to D.C. with my mom four years ago, and we just recently relocated to Arlington. With warmer weather on the horizon, I am excited about getting out and exploring my new city (safely, of course) and meeting new friends — both furry and two-legged.
I love treats, toys and nap time. I’ve also done my fair share of traveling! My mom and I like to take short little weekend getaways to escape the city. We’ve been to Annapolis, Richmond, Charlottesville, Winchester and Williamsburg — to name a few. If you have any suggestions please let my mom know in the comments!
I’m always a good boy. Mom calls me her little prince. I know I am spoiled and get everything I want, but I was also taught the importance of giving back. When we were cleaning out for our move to Arlington, I told my mom I wanted to donate some of my new/gently used toys, blankets and sweaters to other animals in need. (See last pic.) We were able to donate to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, a local organization in Arlington. I really hope they enjoy their new goodies!
