It’s not every day that someone wearing Mickey Mouse clothing is a) out past midnight in Clarendon, b) in her 20s, and c) punching someone in the face. So the following item from this week’s Arlington County crime report is a bit unique.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 10/15/11, 1100 block of N. Highland Street. On October 15 at 12:10 am, a woman punched another woman in the face. The suspect is and Asian female in her late 20’s, 5’4″ and 130 lbs. She was wearing red and white scrubs with a “Mickey Mouse” design.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 10/17/11, 4500 block of Fairfax Drive. On October 17 at 11:10 pm, a man was found bleeding from his head. He stated that a subject that he knew assaulted him.
ROBBERY, 10/15/11, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On October 15 at 3:20 pm, a man asked a jeweler to see several sets of earrings. The suspect then hit the employee’s hand and fled with the jewelry. The suspect is described as an African American male in his late 20’s, 5’7″ and 165 lbs. He had long dreadlocks and was wearing a green jacket, jean and a black hat.
SEXUAL BATTERY, 10/13/11, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. On October 13 at 5 pm, an unknown man grabbed the buttocks of a woman in a grocery store. The suspect is described as an African American man in his 30’s, 6’2″ with a medium build and short black hair. He was wearing an olive green shirt and pants, and carried a short umbrella.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 10/18/11, 800 block of S. 20th Street. On October 18 at 8 pm, two men argued about rent money and one assaulted the other. Terry Caddell, 39, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $2,000 bond.
GRAND LARCENY-ARREST, 10/15/11, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On October 15 at 11:40 am, a man used a fraudulent check to purchase items at an electronics store. When confronted, he resisted arrest. Terence Francis, 40, of Clinton, MD, was charged with Grand Larceny by False Pretences and Resisting Arrest. He was held on without bond.
PEEPING TOM-ARREST, 10/14/11, 1000 block of N. Nelson Street. On October 14 at 7 pm, a man was found peeping into an apartment window. Selvin Garcia-Orellana, 30, of Silver Spring, MD, was charged with Peeping into an Occupied Dwelling. He was held on a $2,500 bond.
EXPOSURE, 10/15/11, 900 block of N. Stuart Street. On October 15 at 6:45 pm, an unknown male exposed himself to a woman in an apartment building elevator. The suspect is described as an overweight white male between 40 and 50 years of age, 5’10”, with a pale complexion and a little bit of facial hair. The suspect was wearing a gray t-shirt, dark plaid shorts, tennis shoes, and was balding.
BURGLARY, 10/17/11, 1900 block of S. Bell Street. On October 16 at 11:30 pm, a stairwell door was found damaged from tampering. There are no known suspects.
BURGLARY,10/17/11, 1900 block of S. Bell Street. Between 6 pm on October 14, and 8 am on October 17, unknown person entered an office suite and stole a lap top computer. A stairwell was found damaged and propped open earlier in the day. There are no known suspects.
TAMPERING WITH AN AUTO (SERIES)-ARREST, 10/19/11, 2600 block of S. 24thRoad. On October 19 at 2 am, officers observed a man attempting to break into several vehicles. Eric Hicks Ford, 33, of no fixed address, was charged with five counts of Tampering with an Automobile, and five counts of Attempted Larceny from Auto. He was held on a $1,000 bond.
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES),10/17/11, 3000 block of Spout Run Parkway and 1900 block of N. Harvard Street. Between 11:15 pm on October 16, and 6:50 am on October 17, an unknown subject stole the airbags from two separate vehicles. There is no suspect description.
