In this week’s Arlington County crime report, a man exposed himself to a female jogger along a bike path in Rosslyn. The incident took place around 10:00 p.m. last Wednesday.
EXPOSURE, 10/26/11, 1400 block of Lee Highway. On October 26, at 10 pm, a woman was jogging on a bike trail near the Key Bridge. She witnessed a man hiding behind a sign shining a flashlight on his genitalia as she ran past. The suspect is a Hispanic or African American male with a light complexion. He was wearing a suit, and covered his face with pantyhose or a stocking.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 10/29/11, 3000 block of Columbia Pike. On October 28 at 3 am, a man was stabbed by a male acquaintance. The victim was uncooperative with police and refused to provide any further information.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 10/30/11, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. On October 30 at 12:50 am, three unknown men approached a young man and tried to grab his iPod. When the victim pulled away, one subject stabbed him superficially in the shoulder. The suspects are described as tall African American men wearing dark clothing. This case appears to be connected to another robbery.
ROBBERY, 10/22/11, 800 block of S. Greenbrier Street. On October 22 at 12:15 am, a man was walking when he was approached by four unknown men who demanded his money and backpack. The victim dropped the backpack and fled the scene. The suspects were all African American.
ROBBERY, 10/26/11, 4100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On October 26 at 9 pm, an unknown subject stole a phone out of a man’s hand. The suspect is described as an African American teenager.
ROBBERY, 10/30/11, 500 block of S. Taylor Street. On October 29 at 11 pm, a teenage male was approached by three African American males who stole his cell phone and cash, while threatening him with a box cutter.
LATE ROBBERY, 10/31/11, 2400 block of Shirlington Road. On October 4 at 12:30 am, an unknown man assaulted a man and stole cash from him. The victim reported the robbery a week later with few details.
ASSAULT BY MOB, 10/29/11, 2900 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On October 29 at 5 am, an intoxicated male reported that he had been assaulted by a group of five males for an unknown reason. The victim believes the suspects were either white or Asian males.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 10/20/11, 3400 block of S. 25th Street. On October 18 at 10:45 am, a woman was assaulted by her landlord.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 10/22/10, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. On October 22 at 6:30 pm, a 19-year old male was assaulted. Known subjects also stole his property.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 10/24/11, 4000 block of N. 5 Street. On October 24 at 2:30 pm, a man tried to retrieve his car from a tow lot without paying and assaulted an employee of the company. Michael Lillie, 30, of Sterling, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held on a $1,000 bond.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 10/29/11, 3100 block of Clarendon Blvd. On October 29 at 1 am, a man was assaulted by a male acquaintance.
LARCENY FROM A PERSON, 10/25/11, 660 block of N. Glebe Road. On October 25 at 8:20 pm, a woman was talking on her cell phone when unknown man approached her, took it from her hand and fled. The suspect is described as an African American male wearing a gray long sleeved shirt and black pants.
BURGLARY, 10/29/11, 2700 block of S. Arlington Ridge Road. On October 29 between 11:30 am, and 1:40 pm, an unknown subject forcibly entered a house through a sliding door and stole numerous electronic items. There are no known suspects.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY-ARREST, 10/24/11, 1100 block of S. Thomas Street. On October 24 at 7:45 am, a man entered two occupied vehicles and a neighbor’s home without permission. Officers located him a short time later. Nelson Marquez, 19 of Arlington, was charged with Trespass of a Vehicle, Unlawful Entry, Obstruction of Justice and Resisting Arrest. He was held without bond.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY-ARREST, 10/30/1, 4300 block of N. Pershing Drive. On October 30 at 2 am, an intoxicated man entered an unlocked apartment without consent and used the apartment’s restroom. Justin King, 29, of Leesburg, was charged with Unlawful Entry. He was held until sober.
ATTEMPT BURGLARY, 10/29/11, 2700 block of S. Arlington Ridge Road. On October 29, between 6 am and noon, an unknown person attempted to enter a house by breaking a pane of glass on a door. Entry was not gained and there is no suspect information.
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 10/22/11, 1900 block of Fort Myer Drive. Between 6 pm on October 21, and 11:45 am on October 22, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles on the same street. There are no known suspects.
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 11/01/11, 2000 block of N. Cameron Street. Between 7 pm on October 31, and 6:30 am on November 1, an unknown person broke into at least two cars in the same neighborhood and stole several items. There is no suspect description.
