In this week’s Arlington County crime report, a driver is accused of hitting a man with her car in Shirlington, then getting out of the car and assaulting the victim and his wife. The driver’s passenger was also charged.
ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 11/06/11, 4000 block of S. Campbell Avenue. On November 6 at 6:30 pm, a car struck a pedestrian, and then the driver and passenger assaulted the victim and his wife. [Redacted], 32, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery and released on a summons. [Redacted], 33, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery and held on a $2,500 bond. ROBBERY, 11/08/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On November 8 at 10 pm, two unknown men stole a cell phone from a 15-year-old male. Both suspects were African American males, 6′ tall wearing ski masks.
EXPOSURE, 11/06/11, 1500 block of N. Potomac Street. On November 6 at 5:30 pm, a teenage male was riding his skateboard on a footbridge when an unknown male exposed himself to the juvenile. The suspect is described as a white male, 6′, and 220 lbs. with medium length blond and gray hair. The suspect was wearing a trench coat and did not have shoes on.
PEEPING TOM, 11/02/11, 2000 block of N. Vermont Street. On November 2 at 9 pm, a man was seen looking into an apartment window. The suspect was a white Hispanic male wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap.
BURGLARY, 11/08/11, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On November 8 between 7:30 am and 9:50 am, an unknown subject entered an office at the mall and stole electronics. There is no suspect description.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (SERIES), 11/05/11, 1000 block of S. Quebec Street and 4300-4600 blocks of Columbia Pike. On November 5 between midnight and 2 am, and unknown subject vandalized at least fourteen vehicles in the same area.
