Crime Report: Indecent Exposure in Bluemont

A man on a bike exposed himself to a woman who was walking her dog in the area of the Bluemont Junction Trail, according to this week’s Arlington County crime report.

The incident happened at 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4. From the crime report:

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 09/04/13, 700 block of N. Emerson Street. At 4:19 pm on September 4, a subject on a bicycle exposed himself to a victim while walking her dog. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his 20’s, approximately 5’7″ tall, average build, and medium length dark brown hair. At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a yellow shirt with a blue circle and writing in the center and black athletic shorts with a grey checkered pattern. The suspect’s bicycle was black with silver and white writing and thin tires.

ROBBERY, 09/08/13, 2000 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At 2:10 pm on September 8, two subjects entered an AT&T store and concealed several phone cases in a backpack. The store manager was assaulted when he confronted the subjects about the merchandise. Suspect #1 was described as a black male, approximately 6’0″ and around 180 lbs with short hair and a beard. Suspect #1 was wearing a long sleeve camouflage shirt at the time of the incident. Suspect #2 was described as a black male, approximately 5’8″, around 160-170 pounds and with long black hair. He was wearing a short sleeve polo shirt, long pants, and a red backpack at the time of the incident.

ROBBERY, 09/05/13, 3800 block of S. Columbia Pike. At 10 pm on September 5, two subjects brandished a baton and robbed a victim of his iPhone on the sidewalk. The subjects fled the scene on foot. Suspect one is described as a Hispanic male in his 40s with a medium build, approximately 5’9″ tall and wearing a white polo shirt. Suspect two is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 13 years old.

BURGLARY / ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 09/05/13, 1000 block of N. Nelson Street. At 3:05 am on September 5, a subject entered a residence and went to a basement bedroom where he touched a female victim as she slept. The victim’s boyfriend was sleeping next to the victim had awoke and recognized the subject as the man that had assaulted him days prior in front of the residence. Fermin Quintanilla, 24, of Arlington, VA, was arrested and charged with burglary and assault and battery. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 09/05/13, 1900 block of N. Underwood Street. Between 9 am and 3 pm on September 5, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole several watches, cash and an iPad. There is no suspect(s) description.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 09/07/13, 1600 block of N. Sycamore Street. Between 7:55 am and 8:01 am on September 7, police received a report of a naked male exposing himself in the woods near soccer fields. The suspect had a white shirt covering his head at the time of the incident. The suspect was not located.
