The Arlington Players (TAP) has joined forces with the Little Theatre of Alexandria (LTA) to bring you an evening of premier one-act shows! Selected from more than 100 submissions worldwide, these three thirty minute shows tackle a wide variety of issues — the environment, race, and relationships, to name a few — in unique and thoughtful ways.

To be clear, these are not the “traditional” shows that you would see from either TAP or LTA, and we take pride in bringing different types of art to our stage. Because these are new works, we have provided content warnings for this show. We believe it is our duty to inform audiences of material that may be triggering. If you would like to see the trigger warnings for this production, see this list: Strong language, mention of cancer and child mortality, mention of animal death, prop gun use, and drug use.

Come see the charming musical She Loves Me, playing at Signature Theatre! The production, directed by Signature’s Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner (RENT, A Chorus Line), features Ali Ewoldt (Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera) as Amalia Balash and Deven Kolluri (Bay Street Theater’s Camelot) as Georg Nowack. Performances run through April 24.

In She Loves Me, two salesclerks in a 1930s European perfumery spar endlessly while saving their sweetest words for an anonymous pen pal. Unbeknownst to them, however, their “dear friend” happens to be each other in a joyful, escapade perfect for ages 6 to 106. “She Loves Me is the effervescent and romantic story we so desperately need right now,” said Gardiner. “I look forward to audiences experiencing this perfectly crafted jewel of a musical in our intimate MAX Theatre. While the outside world can sometimes be bleak and cynical, a trip to days gone by with this wonderful company and thrilling orchestra is truly the best medicine for this moment.”
