The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Arlington House Chapter, is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for students living in Arlington County. Over thirty-five scholarships are awarded nationally in fulfillment of the Society’s goal to support General Washington’s desire to foster “an enlightened public opinion”.

The deadline for DAR Virginia state scholarships is January 10th and DAR National scholarships is January 31, 2023.

A description of the scholarship process can be found on the Virginia DAR State website About — Virginia DAR. The National DAR scholarships are available to all students and can be found on dar.org website in which an applicant completes their information online.

The Arlington House Chapter also awards the Gladwell-Vautrin Memorial Scholarship annually to a female student attending Arlington schools. Contact the Arlington Public Schools counseling office for full details.
