Alanna Rivera Studios presents the Cherrydale Holiday Art Market showcasing artists and makers from Arlington, D.C., and Maryland. Founded by a lifelong Arlington resident and artist, this free, family-friendly event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 12 and Saturday, November 19 indoors at the Cherrydale United Methodist Church, 3701 Lorcom Lane, Arlington, VA 22207.
There is plenty of free parking in the adjacent parking lot and on the street and the event inside is handicap accessible with an elevator leading to the market.
Many of the small businesses present at the art market are minority, woman-owned businesses based in Arlington, VA, including a couple of Made in Arlington vendors. There will be handmade ceramics, paintings, art prints, fine jewelry, custom wood products, comics, apparel, and dog treats for sale. The event is free and there will be a free craft table where kids can decorate their own holiday ornaments while their parents are shopping.
