The Fourth of July is well in the rearview mirror, folks.

Now that we’re in the second half of the year, how are things shaping up?

Well, if the latest BrightMLS T3 Home Demand Index is any indicator, we’re in for a continued hot market through the end of the year.

According to the June 2021 report, buyer demand remains high, with the strongest interest being for single-family homes priced above $950,000 and higher priced condos. Inventory of homes for sale remains low, with just a 0.7 months supply for mid-priced single-family homes and a 2.7 months supply for higher-priced condos.

Compared to last year, the Home Demand Index says demand has increased 20.5% year over year.

Monday, May 31 is Memorial Day. It’s an opportunity to honor and remember the military personnel that we’ve lost while serving.

We celebrated one big-time holiday this past Sunday (Mother’s Day!). And now, we have another big one coming up on Saturday.
