We get it now. We’ve compiled what you NEED to try at Me Jana, including their famous lamb chops!

Baba Ga-What? Baba Ghannouj! Smoked eggplant is pureed with tahini in this smooth dip. The tangy flavor perfectly complements the warm, charred pita and makes a perfect meal starter for the whole table.

Cheese Please! The seared halloumi cheese is a standout on the appetizer menu. It’s lightly bronzed and served with poached pears and dates on the top.

Appetizer Overload: Me Jana’s grape leaves are cooked very slowly to keep them super tender. The spices inside are mixed with tomatoes and chopped Vidalia onion to give the rice great flavor.

Lebanese Pizza?!: If you love the fresh charred pita here, we highly recommend the Lahem Be-Ajeen. A thin pita bread topped with ground lamb and sliced beef that’s been slow-cooked in a bouquet of Lebanese spices and pomegranate molasses. Wow.

Big Ticket Item: Lamb chops… marinated… grilled to perfection… and served with a unique parsley onion salad and potatoes. That whipped cream-looking stuff on the side of the plate? Me Jana’s signature garlic sauce. Dip everything in reach in this sauce; we promise, the only ones who will regret it are any lingering vampires in a 10-mile radius.

Sweet Treat: Finish your meal with a traditional Lebanese dessert called “Ashta.” This silky milk pudding is served with bananas, strawberries, and a crisp piece of filo on top for dipping. Topped with honey and pistachios, this makes the perfect palate cleanser and after-dinner treat.

Can’t Miss: Light My Fire Roll (Sushi Rock’s most popular for years running!). This crunchy shrimp tempura and avocado roll is crazy good, and has a bit of a kick to it from the spicy tuna, aioli, and sliced jalapeno. Crunchy tempura flakes top it off and give the roll its signature look.

You ordered WHAT at a sushi joint? Braised Short Rib. It will melt right in your mouth (9 hours of slow cooking marinated beef will do that), and pulls apart with chopsticks easily. Trust us, you’ll start coming back for this stuff alone.

Lighter Option: The Spicy Scallop and Cucumber Roll off the classic rolls section of the menu is light and crisp, but flavorful. The tobiko and spicy mayo definitely add some bonus kick to round it out.

From the Sea: Balance out the heavier rolls with a Sashimi Set. These colorful slabs of salmon, tuna, yellow tail, and white tuna nicely complement a bigger specialty roll or entrée.

Keep on Rollin’: You can’t forget about the Proud Mary Crab Roll. This house-recommended favorite won’t disappoint! Crispy fried onion chips with old bay seasoning top off this delicious roll filled with avocado, salmon, and tender crabmeat; it’ll leave you wondering why Sushi Rock doesn’t go ahead and open up a location in Maryland already.
